Handlung
In längst vergangener Zeit wurde eine böse Macht in der Welt freigesetzt, die einmal mehr droht, den Krieg zwischen den Menschen und übernatürlichen Kräften von Neuem zu entfachen. Vor Jahrhunderten hatte der Ritter Gregory die mächtige und bösartige Hexe Malkin ins Gefängnis geworfen. Nun ist es ihr jedoch gelungen auszubrechen und sinnt auf Rache. Voller Zorn beschwört sie ihre Anhänger und bereitet sie vor, Übel und Grausamkeit in einer Welt zu verbreiten, in der die Menschen nicht darauf gefasst sind - bis auf Meister Gregory. Gregory fürchtete stets die Rückkehr der Hexe und hat nur noch bis zum nächsten Vollmond Zeit, seinen Zögling Tom Ward auf den Kampf gegen die dunklen Mächte vorzubereiten. Alle Hoffnungen liegen in Tom, denn er ist der siebte Sohn des siebten Sohnes.
