Handlung

Vor einhundert Jahren wurde die Wüstenstadt „Désser City” einer großen Schlacht zwischen Pokémon ausgesetzt und erlitt dabei enorme Schäden. Der Kampf startete aufgrund eines ganz bestimmten Pokémon. Letztendlich gelang es jemandem, jenes Pokémon zu versiegeln, sodass der Friede in der Stadt wiederhergestellt werden konnte, wie er dort auch noch bis heute zu finden ist. Während Ash, Pikachu und seine Freunde ihre Reise durch die Pokémon-Welt fortsetzen, machen sie Bekanntschaft mit dem mysteriösen Pokémon Hoopa, das magische Ringe bei sich trägt, um alles und jeden herbeirufen zu können. Begleitet wird Hoopa von einem Mädchen namens Mary.
