Handlung
Special Agent Jason Fitch wird nach Venezuela beordert. Dort sind riesige Piranhas in einen abgelegenen Seitenarm des Orinoco-Flusses entkommen und werden immer größer und gefräßiger. Bei einem missglückten Versuch, die Tiere ins Jenseits zu befördern, wird ein Damm gesprengt, woraufhin die Monsterfische Kurs auf Florida nehmen - und dort hat gerade die Badesaison begonnen. Die Frage lautet nun: Wie stoppt man Piranhas, die groß genug sind, um ein U-Boot zu fressen?
